Digital printing company planning international expansion

Prontaprint, a UK digital printing company, is planning to launch its business across Europe. The company already has stores in Ireland and throughout the UK and is aiming to increase these to over 200 outlets. As well as this the company is looking into a venture to help young entrepreneurs set up their own franchise. Earlier this year Prontaprint was purchased by Irish Investment house Boundary Capital.

'With the investment from our new owners growth is at the top of our agenda,' says Laird Mackay, Managing Director of Prontaprint. 'It is early stages, but we are already in negotiations with an Italian firm with the prospect of launching a franchise in the country.'
