Pingu's English expands franchise into new European territories

Pingu's English, a USA-based English language course for pre-school children, has expanded its franchise into Romania and the Czech Republic.

Publishing house Editura Sigma has signed the Pingu's English Master Franchise agreement for Romania, which will see the company launch Pingu's English programmes in kindergartens and retail channels across Romania.

Additionally, entrepreneur Alice Kourkzi of Language Academy Sro, has signed a Master Franchise deal that will see her open a Pingu's English School in Prague this summer, as well as further locations throughout the Czech Republic.

Chief Operations Officers of the Linguaphone Group, parent company to Pingu's English, Derek Price said: "Editura Sigma and Language Academy Sro are an esteemed addition to the growing success of Pingu's English worldwide. We are delighted to welcome these new European partners to the Group and look forward to working with them to bring Pingu's English to children across Romania and the Czech Republic in the months ahead."
