Stenders continues its European expansion
Stenders is continuing its European expansion by opening shops in two new countries. The Latvia-based beauty and cosmetic retail franchise has expanding into Demark with the opening of its store in Copenhagen earlier this month. Stenders is also due to expand into Austria with shops set to open in Salzburg on the 16th October and Innsbruck on the 17th October.
Ieva Eglite, Head of the Foreign Trade Department of Stenders, said: "The courage and enterprise of the Austrian franchise partners truly gives us great satisfaction and pleasure, as well as somewhat a great surprise. For us it is an uprecendented case that a partner starts a business on a new territory by opening two shops at once! And these partners with great resolve are Latvians!"
In addition to this Stenders is due to open its first stores in Slovenia in November and Croatia in December. Ieva added: "After having concluded franchise contracts with partners from Slovina, Greece and Croatia, we can finally say with confidence that Stenders has spread all across Europe. The contracts about these territories are an important step in the development of Stenders and bring us closer and closer to the large objective - the opening of our shops in the USA."
Furthermore, by the end of this year Stenders is set to strengthen its presence in countries it already franchises in with stores due to open in China, Sweden, Hungary and Russia.
