Europe is the target for BB's Coffee & Muffins, which is planning to roll out its café concept via international franchisees. Rachel Spaul reports


BB's Coffee & Muffins open stores in high footfall locations such as shopping centres to limit competition, and sell products unique to the brand such as New Zealand ice cream. In the UK and Ireland, BB's has achieved a good level of brand awareness using these techniques. The flexibility of the brand accommodates large format cafés, small cafés seating 20, coffee carts and pod designs. 'If there's a shopping centre location that is right for BB's Coffee & Muffins, we will make sure there's a store format to fit,' Michele Young, General Manager assures.
