Express by Holiday Inn to increase French presence

InterContinental Hotels Group is preparing for the "significant" expansion of its Express by Holiday Inn brand in France after signing a franchise agreement with Cofis Compagnie Fiduciaire SA, Geneva which will see 11 new hotels (with a total of 1,100 rooms) built over the next five years across France. The first is set to open at the end of 2007 in Saint-Nazaire, near Nantes.
