Founded in New York City in 1986, the family owned Famous Famiglia ensures consistent quality through its own branded line of quality products including pizzas, pastas, calzones and a healthy variety of salads. The business has been awarded first place honours in three catorgories in the Airport Review News industry awards for the third year in a row.

Part of the key to Famous Famiglia's successful expansion programme has been its strong and meaningful strategic partnerships with market-leading operators and landlords, such as Westfield, Simon Property Group, the Compass Group, Select Service Partners and DeBartolo Property Group. The company has successfully expanded its concept from the high street into high-profile market locations such as leading airports, universities, shopping centres, casinos, stadiums, theme parks and arenas, as well as being named the 'Official Pizza of the New York Yankees'.

With pizza being one of the fastest growing fast food categories, Famous Famiglia is looking to capitalise on this potential global market by expanding its New York brand across Europe. The business is seeking National and Regional Master Franchisees as well as Area-Development Franchisees, who will benefit from a proven concept, the support and guidance of a knowledgeable management team and the Famous Famiglia brand itself. With the Master Franchisee investment ranging between US$100,000 and US$1,000,000, correlated to the size of the development area, the role will include attracting, screening, signing, training and providing ongoing support to all new franchisees within the territory.

A strong preference is given to individuals or organisations that have the financial, managerial and marketing skills to make the programme work. The role requires demonstrated abilities in successfully developing a franchise, preferably with experience in the foodservice sector. Primarily, important qualities are a strong work ethic, the focus on delivering quality and value and strong team building skills.
