Created in Dallas, Texas in 1975 as a neighbourhood style restaurant with a uniquely Southwestern flair, Chili's Grill & Bar® served homemade-quality food, draft beer and frozen drinks in a casual atmosphere. The menu was simple, with items like the Oldtimer with Cheese and a 'bowl of red' - Texas-style chili. The decor also captured the enthusiasm and energy of Chili's and its wait staff, complete with decorated tiles and tiled tabletops, colourful posters and unique collectibles hanging on the walls and from the ceiling.
Mouthwatering hamburgers and tantalising chili proved a potent combination, and customers flocked to Chili's Grill & Bar. The restaurant's growth exploded in the 1980s, as a nation of hungry patrons turned to Chili's to satisfy their cravings for good food and good times.
Today, there are over 1,100 Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants in 24 countries around the world, featuring the delicious hamburgers and outstanding service that made us famous. The Chili's menu has grown to include items such as:
- The Triple Play, featuring our famous Chicken Crispers®, Boneless Buffalo Wings & Southwestern Egg rolls;
- Flavorful Big Mouth Burgers®, spiced with seasonings like Cracked Peppercorn and toppings like applewood smoked bacon & bleu cheese crumbles;

After 30 years, Chili's is still 'Like No Place Else.®' Chili's is experiencing extraordinary growth, with 20 openings scheduled outside the US this fiscal year. With plans to rapidly grow the brand across Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, Chili's is poised to become a globally dominant casual dining brand.
