Coffee Republic has signed a Master Franchise deal for Cyprus that will see 15 new sites open on the island. A UK-based coffee shop franchise, Coffee Republic has signed a Master Franchise deal for Cyprus with Terra Group, a premier local Real Estate and Financial Services Group, which will oversee the brand's expansion across Cyprus.
In addition to this deal, Coffee Republic has opened a new bar in the Kaifan Area of Kuwait University, and has also signed a franchise deal that will see the opening of 18 bars in high-value shopping locations across South Africa.
Tariq Affara, Coffee Republics CEO, said: "The desire for the Coffee Republic brand abroad has been very exciting. Our international partners understand their local demand for a genuinely Italian roasted coffee as well as a strong brand and concept. This is allowing us to build momentum at home and abroad. We have a foothold in Cyprus and several other deals in the pipeline and will continue to invest in the international growth and expansion of the brand."
Rona Drousiotou, General Manager of Coffee Republic in Cyprus added: "This is a brand that has a fantastic core product and a business model that is attractive to us as operators. We have been enthused by the management team and their passion and look forward to bringing Coffee Republic to new customers in Cyprus. We are confident of its success."
